Les MisBarack!

I think this is one of the best Obama videos I have seen. Music inspires. Still not sure who I'll vote for come November 4th but had to put this up, for the Obama fans and the Les Mis fans! ;-)

Thrivingly yours,
Susan

That is hilarious. So well done. But if French history teaches us anything, it's that those who revolt often end up being just as bad as the establishment they revolted against--same injustice, same lust for power, same using people for their own ends. Starting a revolution doesn't mean your ideas for governing are worth a hoot! Obama is no more a Jean Valjean than McCain is a Javert or Palin a Madame Thernardier. I think somebody's idea of the glory and potential of Obama and the evil of McCain and Palin is just a touch overblown. ;-) But what a fun video!

Hey Rachel, glad you liked the video. I like the fervor behind the sentiment that people can make a difference. Does it ever work out the way we hope, in our highest dreams? No, take a look at the Catholic church or the Protestants that burned women at the stake for being witches...no highest dreams are rarely realized. At yet, there is something about the fervor and desire for a better world that pulls at my heart strings.

I'll settle for some steps in the right direction and away from the last 8 years.

Les Miserables was a medicine movie for me as a girl. Never like musicals though.
